We have a vacancy for an Operations Coordinator. The position will involve the day to day coordination of the installation, maintenance and breakdown side of the business. This will include the scheduling of jobs and coordinating with outside contractors and clients.
This is a very challenging role and has a variety of required skills. The primary functions in this position will be:
* Manage day-to-day operations tasks, such as job scheduling, logistics, and workshop staff management.
* Coordinate with workshop team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Develop and maintain operational processes and workflows to ensure that resources are used efficiently.
* Identify and address operational problems and inefficiencies, report these to the operations manager and suggest solutions.
* Participate in the development of company policies and procedures.
The ideal person will bring to this role:
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
* Natural leadership with proven experience managing personnel & efficient workflows
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Industry experience from a similar role
* Proactive and able to work independently while also being part of a team
* Ability to work under pressure, adapt well to change, and meet tight deadlines
* A positive and cheerful demeanour
