Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR who are a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.
KBR support the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents. Serving their customers through diverse business units, KBR offer challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
KBR are looking to recruit a Business Case Manager on a 12 month contract based in Cumbria, with occasional travel to other site in Warrington

Responsibilities
4. Engage with the stakeholder community to understand requirements and build consensus on the business case, drawing on SME expertise where possible
5. Undertake analysis to create models that underpin the financial and economic cases
6. Shape the structure of the Business Case in line with Green Book guidelines
7. Resolve, and where appropriate escalate, key issues.
8. Generate modelling analysis and creating support material to allow the project to make informed decisions and develop Business Cases, and specifically the Financial and Economic Cases
9. Working with stakeholders to establish ‘as is’ baseline and the ‘to be’ position; the deltas and key options for consideration capturing benefits, risks, and key sensitivities.
10. Drive the management of all reporting relating to Options, an reporting with clarity and confidence through either written or verbal presentations
Experience / Skills / Knowledge
11. Proven analytical and sceptical mindset with an ability to model solutions to complex problems.
12. Experience of delivering the Business Case analysis for complex projects and programmes
13. The gravitas to ‘hold their own’ when challenged on recommendations and direction of travel To inform decisions of key stakeholders, particularly driving value for money
14. A wider understanding of non-financial benefits, specifically sustainability and social value
15. Ability to have an innovative approach when there is a lack of data, and/or a lack of buy in from stakeholders
16. Ability to work at pace and under pressure to deliver trusted analysis and insights
17. Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite, strong practical knowledge of Excel
18. Analysing data and the ability to provide efficiency insights and bring data to life through different presentational outputs – eg business reporting in Tableau or PowerBI
19. Knowledge of key financial indicators like RoI, IRR, NPV and how a P&L and Cashflow operate
20. Assist in fully implementing, utilising and maintaining a Return on Investment view, including links to the Benefits Realisation process
21. Understanding of Business Analysis frameworks, value cycles, business processes and business requirements, and applying these appropriately
