About the Sociology Teacher Role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sociology Teacher to join our successful Social Sciences department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Sociology at Key Stage 5 (A-Level), inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for this fascinating subject. Responsibilities of the Sociology Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality Sociology lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities. Assess and monitor student progress in Sociology, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the Sociology curriculum and departmental resources. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Sociology teaching. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Sociology or a related field. Experience teaching Sociology at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Sociology.
