TSR Legal is currently working with a prestigious law firm who have a brand new opportunity for a skilled Credit Control Manager to join their finance team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in legal credit control, particularly in the insurance sector, to take the next step in their career.
The Role
As Credit Control Manager, you’ll oversee a team of credit controllers spread across the firm's offices while also acting as a key escalation point for a team globally. The role involves ensuring processes run smoothly, mentoring team members, and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure prompt payments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the credit control team and ensuring efficient processes.
* Mentoring team members and providing guidance.
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure prompt payments.
What the Firm is Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* At least 8 years’ experience in legal credit control, ideally within the insurance sector.
* Familiarity with Aderant or similar practice management systems.
* Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
* A commercial mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* A collaborative and inclusive attitude.
