Road services are accepting applications for suitably experienced road operatives to help us deliver various exciting projects utilising a modern fleet of vehicles and plant.
Ideal candidates will have experience in surfacing, drainage, plant operation, line painting, or winter maintenance.
Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to partake in overtime and on-call operations, which is coupled with a generous pension employer contribution.
Jobholders must hold the SVQ level 2 in Road Building or equivalent experience and be willing to obtain a NRSWA operators’ qualification, along with at least 1 year’s post-qualification experience in the road maintenance industry to carry out a variety of tasks and be conversant in the safe operation of a number of items of plant associated with the tasks.
A driver's licence is advantageous.
