About the role (External)
As a Records Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in organising and maintaining a range of records, including digital files, paper documents and drawings. Your responsibilities will include organising and categorising records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, safety and standards, alongside assisting with record retrieval and collaborating with the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Monitor the movement of records and electronic data from and to the Record Centre.
2. Provide reports regarding the status of records and data. Input to and maintain data in electronic records management systems.
3. Investigate the circumstances of requests of record and data already booked-out or unobtainable and report on the position.
4. Supply information only prints, source records, Computer Aided Design (CAD) files and data when required.
5. Maintain reference library for records as required.
6. Undertake general office duties as directed.
7. Assist with the provision of records configuration details, including drawing numbers, version control and records format
8. Provide basic advice in relation to Record Centre processes, configuration issues, and compliance to group and company standards.
9. Identify areas for improvement in the Records Centre processes.
