Position: Business Analyst
Suitable for: Business Analyst with approx. 3 years min commercial experience
Location: Hybrid / Remote - approx 3 days in the office (Rugeley, Staffordshire)
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst who is an experienced software professional able to confidently interpret and communicate customer requirements ensuring that our client's exceptional levels of software quality and deployments are met.
Experience/Attributes:
* 3-5 years' experience as Business Analyst or similar
* Experience of gathering user requirements and developing user stories
* Knowledge of data modelling techniques
* The ability to turn complex concepts into simple language
* Experience of working with technical teams and facilitating client workshops
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent attention to detail
* Understanding of the Agile methodology and experience of using JIRA/Trello is an advantage
Desirable:
* An understanding and comprehensive knowledge of the general insurance market is highly desirable
The Role:
* Act as a customer proxy for the development team during the development cycle of specific products and features
* Analyse the new requirements from our clients and translating into functional specifications for application developers
* Evolve user stories through development reviews
* Support the Product Manager in aligning core customer requirements with the published product roadmap
* Facilitate client workshops, identifying and clarifying requirements
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
* Work closely with Marketing and Operations to define and deliver go-to-market strategy, product positioning, key benefits and target clients
* Contribute to marketing activity
* Refine demo process flows (which vary per audience) to highlight the product as its best
