We're seeking a Production Manager for our newest venue, Watford Colosseum. As part of AEG Presents, the Touring, Festival and mid-sized venue division of AEG Europe, you'll play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for artists and audiences alike.
The Production Manager and their team are responsible for the oversight of the technical aspects for all of our events.
Bring the Show to Life
* Transform artist visions into reality by coordinating rigging, power, audio, and lighting setups
* Keep our technical specifications current and comprehensive
Show Leadership
* Work directly with artist production teams to understand their requirements
* Lead crucial show stop briefings and ensure all safety protocols are followed
* Build strong relationships with promoters and touring teams
Technical Excellence
* Assemble and direct teams of riggers, engineers, and stage crew
* Oversee all technical equipment maintenance to guarantee peak performance
* Source and manage additional equipment to meet specific show requirements
What we're looking for:
* Substantial experience in music, theatre or entertainment venues or events production
* Knowledge of lighting, audio, video, pyrotechnics and SFX, staging, barrier systems and rigging
* Experience in a management role spanning Technical Production including Production related Health and Safety
* Knowledge of key technical suppliers in the live events industry
* An understanding of and competency in venue power and distribution
* Experience with managing budgets and show costs
* Hold recognised safety qualification(s) such as a NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, Risk Assessment or an Events Industry Special Effects qualification.
* Experience in event operations – show stop procedures, evacuations, and security briefings
* Experience in using AutoCAD
