We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Account Executive to join our full service events agency. The ideal candidate would have experience in the world of B2B events, be organised and driven with excellent customer service skills and great attention to detail.
The main responsibilities of the Account Executive include venue finding, dealing with customer enquiries and collating proposal information for client presentation as well as management of key client accounts and the organisation and onsite running of their live events. Admin skills are a must as well as the ability to multi task and communicate well with event sales team, contractors and venue staff.
This is a full time position, a typical working week is 3 days in the office based in Hertford and 2 days a week at home. The successful candidate should also expect to work offsite at client events throughout the year, including overnight stays at venues across the UK to ensure the smooth running of events.
Key skills required:
· Organisation and administrative skills
· Experienced in Excel, PowerPoint & Word
· Strong communication skills
· Events experience ideal but not essential (preferably in B2B events)
· Ability to think on your feet
· High level of professionalism
· UK Driving license
Main responsibilities:
· Assisting with managing key accounts, including upselling
· Ensuring the smooth running onsite of these events- this includes liaison with sales staff pre event and onsite as well as the management of stand contractors and venue staff.
· Assisting on venue finding enquiries- working across all accounts as required- researching potential venues, dealing with client enquiries and creating proposals.
· Generating new business
· Onsite event management as necessary for client events to support the rest of the team.
· Admin and marketing duties
