Job Description
As a Multiskilled Technician, you will be responsible for delivering mechanical, electrical, and building services engineering maintenance to client properties.
Your duties will include fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installations. Throughout your work, you will follow ISS policies to promote a safe, healthy, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
Success in this role will be measured by demonstrable contributions to achieving contractual KPIs in line with the Service Level Agreement.
You will exhibit strong leadership competencies, adhere to ISS technical standards and procedures, and maintain a commitment to health and safety excellence.
By leading by example, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of top-tier service while upholding ISS values.
Key Responsibilities
* Completing mechanical and electrical PPMs, proactive and reactive works within set timeframes to exceed customer expectations
* Conducting other building services maintenance tasks, including basic fabric, HVAC, mechanical, and related tasks
* Providing callout response for the client as detailed by the supervisor
* Performing contractor control duties, including mentoring contractors, ensuring workmanship meets standards, and issuing Permits to Work
* Ensuring all mechanical and electrical equipment operates to specified performance criteria and surrounding areas conform to company standards
* Providing professional service and representing the company to ensure customer satisfaction
* Evaluating performance and ensuring equipment under contract is serviced and maintained properly
* Proactively liaising with clients and addressing concerns or relaying them to management as needed
* Ensuring contractual requirements and customer needs are fully understood and met
* Completing administration tasks on time and maintaining accurate records/documents
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and COSHH
* Suggesting improvements and innovations to enhance service delivery
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* Ideally from an electrical or mechanical background, completing PPM and reactive works
* Experience in fault finding and some installations (e.g., replacement of systems)
* Preferably experience working on large sites and being in and around plant rooms with various boilers and BMS systems
* Electrical qualifications: 18th Edition, NVQ or C&G Installations, or any additional electrical certifications
* Mechanical qualifications: C&G or NVQ in Engineering or C&G/NVQ Maintenance & Operations of Engineering Technician
* Electrical-to-Mechanical conversion certifications desirable
* Additional certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, or any health and safety qualifications are advantageous
