Your new company
Hays are working on behalf of a large organisation who are looking for a Manager on a permanent basis due to growth.
Your new role
The role has an emphasis on managing all operations including Health and Safety and duties include:
1. Delivering health and safety workshops to employees.
2. Lead quality activities within the business including audits.
3. Provide training to Health and Safety representatives.
4. Provide and carry out training to production staff.
5. Develop KPI's and data recording.
6. Lead the quality team in dealing with customer concerns and driving improvements.
7. Lead the environmental team in dealing with council permits and environmental challenges.
8. Be integral to reducing customer credits from 2024.
9. Investigate all accidents, incidents and near misses including liaising with external authorities.
10. Monitoring all areas of the business to ensure they adhere to company health and safety procedures.
11. Responsible for all audits including council, fire, and ISO 9001, 45001, 14001.
12. Active and engaged member of the senior leadership team.
13. Work closely with the Operations Managers.
14. Carry out inductions for new starters.
15. Chair regular health and safety meetings.
16. Contribute and adhere to ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001.
17. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in all matters relating to Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental.
18. Provide advice to the board on all aspects of QHSE.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need experience in:
1. NEBOSH
2. First Aid
3. ISO 9001, 14001, 45001.
4. Planning and organisational skills
5. Accuracy and attention to detail
6. A real proactive approach to work.
7. Effective written and verbal communication skills
8. Competent user of Microsoft.
