People & Talent Manager (Learning & Development Focus)

Gate One, a dynamic digital and business transformation consultancy, is looking for a People & Talent Manager to help shape the L&D landscape alongside driving HR initiatives.

Gate One was established in the UK in 2013 and is currently a c£50m Group a c300 strong team. In addition to our team in London, in recent years, Gate One has set up small teams in Dublin, New York and Bangalore and we are currently building the size of these teams whilst looking at other locations to support our international expansion.

A bit about the role…
As a People & Talent Manager at Gate One, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the learning and development strategy and pathways while providing advice, guidance and support to broader HR initiatives. In conjunction with the Senior People & Talent Manager and internal central L&D team, you’ll lead on:
* Creating learning pathways and training curriculums
* Owning the overall L&D budget
* Partnering with L&D team members in Havas to share best practice and leverage expertise
* Advising and coaching Gate One leaders to create and facilitate training sessions
* Owning relationships with external partners to deliver training programmes
Beyond L&D, you’ll also be responsible for:
* Overseeing HR processes across performance management, employee relations, performance and reward and compliance across the UK, US, Ireland, and India
* Providing advice and guidance to managers regarding employee underperformance
* Managing other P&T team members, directly and indirectly
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate that you have:
* Experience of managing L&D initiatives, including budget management and creation of learning pathways
* Experience of working in a HR generalist role, providing advice & guidance and owning responsibilities
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills whilst being self-motivated and able to thrive in a dynamic environment of growth and change
It’d also be great if:
* You have worked in professional services
* You have experience of leading and managing others (directly and indirectly)
* You have knowledge of employment law and best practices across multiple regions
* You are CIPD qualified (desired but not essential)
