The City of Sunderland is currently going through a transformation program to deliver itandrsquo;s 2030 city plan, to create smarter, cleaner, greener, and more attractive city, and you could be part of this. Sunderland City Councilandrsquo;s Environmental Services Team is looking to recruit a Technical Support Assistant.
As a Technical Services Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting the daily operations of Environmental Services. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently will be essential to succeed in this role. You will be required to maintain a high level of accuracy, whilst meeting tight deadlines and have the proven ability to work collaboratively in a high-volume environment.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, with strong organizational skills along with the ability to multi-task and provide a high level of customer care and act as a representative for the service.
It is essential that you have knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of CRM systems would also be advantageous. You should be familiar with KPIs, researching and presenting business information, financial administration, and monitoring service standards.
You will have the opportunity to work flexibly across the working day to meet the needs of the business, your normal working week will be Monday to Thursday 07.30 andndash; 15.30, Friday 07.30 andndash; 15.00, 37 hours.
