We're recruiting an experienced Senior Hospitality Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Universities on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.
As a Hospitality Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and helping to deliver truly incredible food experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:
Take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others.
Ensure all areas and equipment are left clean and tidy in line with expectations for the space, particularly within café retail units.
Implement all relevant HSE procedures within the unit and review them as appropriate.
Complete all food safety requirements in the delivery of the business including temperature records and safe display.
Be accountable for the safe provision of food to those with allergies and intolerances
Ensure that all HSE incidents are correctly reported
Ensure 100% completion rate of all HSE e-learning and maintain up to date training records
Ensure equipment is maintained and any failure is reported and dealt with in an efficient manner
Monitor emails throughout the day, responding to requests in a timely manner.
Work independently in the planning, control and execution of events where required.
Forward planning - Take responsibility for ensuring the team update plans and monitor picklists
Order equipment and staffing in line with procedure, taking responsibility for planning and cost minimisation
Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklist tasks and delegate responsibilities within the team.
Support the Events Hospitality Manager enforcing standards in the successful delivery of the operation
Take a senior role within the team, deputising in absence of the Hospitality Events Manager
