Up to £60,000 dependent on experience It’s an exciting time to join the Service Operations team here at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform and deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes. To help us ensure a seamless integrated service through a range of suppliers, both internal and external whilst delivering the best possible operational services, we’re looking for two IT Vendor Managers to join the team. Reporting into the Head of UK IT Vendor Management, you’ll lead, manage and develop key IT third party relationships with suppliers, vendors and business partners via the UK IT vendor management office across the AXA UK and Ireland estate. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Develop and manage key IT third party relationships to ensure partner offerings align with delivery of the IT strategy Build effective relationships with the UK procurement, strategic partnership office and legal teams Lead regular strategic and operational vendor reviews to confirm contractual compliance and performance, identify and track improvement actions and opportunities to deliver additional value from the relationship Develop and agree with customers and IT, the strategy and management plans for each vendor Engage with relevant IT stakeholders, ensuring a level of due diligence and governance is in place for the onboarding, service introduction and ongoing management of vendors Manage all aspects of the formal contract between the vendors and AXA UK and Ireland (either directly or through AXA UK Procurement as appropriate), including ongoing contract reviews, renewals, refinements, updates and changes Manage regulatory and risk management processes in respect of strategic IT partners to ensure compliance with AXA Group policy and FCA regulations for AXA UK and Ireland Track and maintain the status of statement of work and work orders through development, execution, change and completion What you’ll bring: Chartered Institute of Procurement (CIPs) level 3/4 qualifications or equivalent supplier management experience Excellent experience at developing and negotiating IT contracts, service level requirements and statement of works Good awareness of IFC and any other relevant pieces of legislation Proven record in ongoing development of strategic relationships, driving win-win solutions to support innovation and competitive advantage Ability to work collaboratively and influence multiple executive level stakeholders Experience of developing a partner lifecycle approach and managing third parties both strategically and operationally High levels of commercial acumen and financial awareness driving value for money, cost savings and avoidance Licence management exposure Experience dealing with IT vendors is highly desirable As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
