1.To work as part of a multi-disciplinary community CAMHS service which provides clinic based outpatient services, outreach and liaison to support integrated practice and seamless service delivery for young people and their families. To work as an autonomous professional within relevant professional guidelines (e.g. AFT, UKCP, BPS or HCPC) and the policies and procedures of the service. 2.To contribute to the generic functions of the team as required by undertaking initial assessments, working as a Duty Worker, offering a triage service to referrers and concerned professionals, responding to service users and parents, gathering and sharing information with partner agencies, undertaking home and school observations. 3.To undertake detailed, highly specialist systemic assessment and interventions for children and families using a range of assessment approaches including interviews, observations of family interactions, genograms, individual and family questionnaires and other measures as appropriate. 4. To assess and monitor risk and draw up appropriate risk management and safeguarding plans for referrals to Family therapy that prioritise the needs of the young person and takes in to account their social context. 5.To provide a consultation and training role in delivering systemic family interventions to professionals working with families where systemic issues are indicated and to co-ordinate multi-professional groups to be able to deliver systemic therapies within their areas of work. 6.To exercise responsibility for the governance of systemic family therapy practice within the service, by: taking responsibility for maintaining an appropriate, defined caseload, and a balance between treatment, consultative, and administrative tasks; undertaking risk assessment and risk management, particularly in the area of safeguarding for clients and to provide advice to other professionals on aspects of risk management. 7.To ensure that systems are in place and working effectively for the clinical and professional supervision and support of family and systemic psychotherapists and family therapy trainees in the service. 8.To evidence the use of appropriate outcome measures, such as score 15, RCADS or other appropriate measure to illustrate clinical effectiveness. 9.The post holder will fully participate in the Appraisal / Supervision structure and work with their manager to ensure that they have a clear job plan and objectives 10. Be involved and support Line managers in service development and delivery of KPIs
