My client is a leading Technology Innovation Company in Central Birmingham. An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing & Events Executive to join their team in the newly created role. This role is a mix of Marketing & Events and hybrid.
The day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Events Management
1. Plan and execute industry conferences, workshops and networking events
2. Manage venue sourcing, supplier negotiations and contract management
3. Coordinate all event logistics including catering, AV, materials and branded collateral
4. Oversee virtual event platform setup and management
5. Create detailed event briefs and run-sheets
6. Manage on-site event delivery and troubleshooting
7. Conduct post-event analysis and reporting
8. Coordinate regular member communications
9. Track engagement metrics and retention rates
10. Organise member networking opportunities
11. Gather and analyse member feedback
12. Support membership renewal campaign
Marketing & Communications
1. Support content creation for social media platforms
2. Write and schedule email marketing campaigns
3. Update website content and event calendars
4. Create event promotional materials and presentations
5. Assist with PR activities and thought leadership content
6. Monitor competitor activities and industry trends
Applicants will have:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Events Management, or equivalent
2. Experience in marketing and events coordination within a professional environment
3. Exposure to digital marketing skills across multiple platforms
