“King’s Warrington – Winner of the first National Character Award and EdTech Leader”
The Governing body are seeking to appoint a passionate Spanish teacher to join an outstanding department.
King’s is a non-selective school that was founded on traditional values and international research. The school is highly regarded and significantly oversubscribed. In the most recent DfE performance tables, King's is ranked in the top 2% of schools in the North West.
The MFL faculty is forward thinking and has established a scholarly community, where innovative teachers develop talented students. For the successful candidate this is a unique opportunity to join a superb team and shape the department's future success. The curriculum is exciting and knowledge based, with students across all ages genuinely enjoying their Spanish lessons. Departmental resources and schemes of work are of a very high standard and support teacher work-life balance through minimal marking and research informed pedagogy.
As a school we are unique in our approach, in that we seek to develop character and leadership skills in our students, we are not an exam factory. Every student at the school is conscientious, hard-working and an absolute pleasure to teach, our staff never have ‘Sunday night dread’. For the successful candidate, this represents a rare opportunity to join a caring team of outstanding practitioners, dedicated to each other’s well-being and the future of every child.
