About the Role:
Are you passionate about helping children thrive in their learning? We're on the lookout for a warm, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join us to work in a local Primary school. This is a fantastic chance to make a real difference in students' lives by supporting them in the classroom and working closely with teachers to create a positive and engaging environment for all.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Helping the class teacher with daily tasks and activities.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who need a little extra help.
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom where every student can flourish.
- Assisting with preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) or those learning English as an additional language (EAL).
- Helping supervise students during break times and lunchtimes.
Who We're Looking For:
- Experience in a similar role or working with children is a plus but not essential.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
- Great communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- An enhanced DBS check and registration to the DBS Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Registration to the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
