We have an opportunity for a motivated Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) to join our team, based at our site in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.

What will you do:
The role of maintenance engineer (electrical) is critical to the business supporting the achievement of business goals.
You will support operations teams by performing necessary breakdown repairs, leading preventative maintenance activity, and facilitating the promotion of engineering solutions for process improvement to ensure process availability and productivity are optimised.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Effectively maintaining all process and auxiliary equipment across the facility to improve uptime while reducing costs.
2. Reporting and recording maintenance and repair details for all work activities, using the appropriate maintenance management and IT systems.
What will you need:
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified at a minimum NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade ideally obtained through a recognised craft or modern apprenticeship scheme.
You should demonstrate experience of a relevant engineering discipline, continuous improvement processes, preventative maintenance techniques, and dealing with contractors.
Essential skills include:
1. Excellent communication and organisational skills
2. Computer literacy
3. Ability to work without close supervision and under pressure to tight timescales
You will need to demonstrate a sound electrical background and proven track record. The successful candidate will operate as part of a small team and should be fully conversant with current health & safety regulations.
Ideally, you will have experience of electrical maintenance and fault finding within a heavy engineering/industrial environment. The ability to adapt to new equipment is essential. You must be flexible and have a desire to learn and develop.
