Are you a qualified Nursery Practitioner looking for a new and exciting role? We are recruiting for a Deputy Room Leader to join our nursery in West London.
Position Details:
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with a variety of shifts between 7:30am-6pm.
- Salary: £24,000 - £26,500 dependent on experience.

- Established our Northwood branch in July 2019 and expanded twice since then.
- Eastcote is our second branch.

A Typical Day Includes:
- Working as part of a team to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Caring for all children and ensuring their personal and hygiene needs are met daily.
- Ensuring the children are happy, settled, and content.
- Observing, assessing, and planning for the childrens individual needs, ensuring their development is continuously monitored and creating opportunities for children to progress.
- Keeping up to date with legislation in early education and ensuring all paperwork complies with EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
- Familiarizing yourself with the nursery's policies and procedures and working within these.
- Leading a team, encouraging and raising practice daily.
- Delegating tasks to ensure the smooth running of the room.
- Sharing creative ideas and involving your team in classroom decision-making.
- Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and securing bonds with the children.
What We Ask From You:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Qualification in Early Years.
- A Montessori Diploma is desirable.
- Previous experience in an early years setting.
- Ability to be a positive role model for your team.
- Extensive knowledge of the current EYFS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion, motivation, and the ability to work well within a team.
- Adaptability to a fun and inspiring working environment.
- Good ICT skills.
- A current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate.
