Contract Administrator
Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary
Full time – 37.5 hours per week
£23,000 - £26,000 plus Serco Benefits.
At Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, we have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Administrator to join the team on a full-time basis. This role will involve liaising with visitors, clients and staff and providing a customer focused service, dealing with all customer requests.
Our Contract Administrator will also respond to calls ensuring complaints are dealt with in an efficient and sensitive manner, whilst ensuring appropriate records are maintained. This is an active and visible role requiring excellent customer relationship and administrative skills. Working as part of a team, the Contract Administrator will be expected to support the Performance Manager and provide an excellent customer focused and administrative support.
Main Accountabilities:
1. Provide an administrative and business support service to the team managing a variety of service issues ensuring a good response to customer service.
2. Raising work orders for remedials as requested by Senior Technicians.
3. Monitor and update all work orders as required.
4. Responsible for collation of documents required for lifecycle claims and updating of trackers.
5. Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers regarding lead time.
6. Logging incidents on Assure, Health & Safety platform and updating as required.
7. Updating and maintenance of databases.
8. Support in the production and delivery of reports required under the Contract.
9. Act as part of a team to deliver activities which support operational objectives.
What you will need for the role:
1. Good verbal and written communication skills.
2. Computer literate (Good knowledge of Microsoft office programs, specifically: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher).
3. Customer focused.
4. Organised and with high degree of attention to detail.
5. Able to manage competing priorities.
6. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7. Recognised qualification in office administration or relevant experience.
8. Problem solving skills.
9. Strong interpersonal skills.
