They are currently seeking a Project Manager to join their development team and oversee hydrogen projects.
Role Description:
The Project Manager, focusing on hydrogen projects, will work closely with the development team to create and manage various engineering initiatives. This individual will collaborate with the Head of Engineering to bring clarity and organization to concurrent development projects, ensuring timely execution and effective coordination of project interdependencies.
Position Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the development team to create and manage multiple workstreams necessary for the development of hydrogen products, infrastructure, and facilities, ensuring adherence to project schedules.
* Identify critical paths and potential bottlenecks in project timelines.
* Work with teams to devise strategies for reducing critical path lengths while minimizing risk.
* Assess resource allocation and identify needs for additional team members, tools, and equipment.
* Drive the development process forward as efficiently as possible.
Essential Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of experience within the hydrogen or a related renewable energy field.
* Proven track record of managing and delivering successful projects, preferably in an R&D environment.
* Proficiency in Excel and experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
* Ability to source quotes from suppliers effectively.
* Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to logically analyse and break down problems.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong stakeholder management abilities.
* Certification in PRINCE2 or PMP is preferred.
