Aqua Sana Forest Spa General Manager Aqua Sana Forest Spa is an award-winning spa offering a combination of experiences, products and treatments. Each spa – one at each Center Parcs location – is uniquely designed, with up to 25 spa experience rooms to explore. There is also an extensive range of face and body treatments available to book, carried out by expert therapists using products from the finest product houses including Elemis, Comfort Zone and VOYA. Aqua Sana Forest Spa is extremely popular and is accessible to both guests staying on the Village as a Center Parcs guest, and external guests who visit Aqua Sana Forest Spa during Spa Days and Spa Breaks. AQUA SANA FOREST SPA GENERAL MANAGER | £60,000 pa plus 18% bonus scheme Reporting to the Village Director, you will work closely with divisional leads, the Aqua Sana Forest Spa management team and key stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the Aqua Sana Forest Spa and the delivery of an exceptional guest experience. In this role, you will have a high degree of commercial responsibility for the Spa, managing the end-to-end guest journey, ensuring the team are delivering excellent guest service while adhering to brand standards and compliance with health and safety guidelines. You will also oversee the management of our Vitalé Café Bar restaurant, ensuring a high standard of service and dining experience for guests. Working closely with the Village Director, Director of Spa and Group Spa Manager to identify and implement strategies to drive revenue, enhance guest satisfaction and respond to seasonal and business demands, while maintaining the highest standards of service. Your key responsibilities will include managing financial budgets and profit and loss accounts, with a focus on sales performance, capacity management, Therapist utilisation, retail performance, promotional activities, payroll and operating costs. Leading a motivated and high-performing team will be at the heart of this role. With the support of your management team, you will be responsible for recruitment, training and development and ensuring the team is equipped to provide outstanding service that encourages repeat bookings, referrals and guest loyalty. This is a newly created position within the business to support our growth and enhanced guest experience aspirations and would be suited to Spa Directors and Spa General Managers, or those managing an extensive Leisure / Health Club operation. HOURS OF WORK You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis. ABOUT YOU Essential requirements: Commercially astute and proven financial management skills Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Ability to utilise excellent time management skills and use own initiative Excellent people management skills and the ability to motivate and lead a large team Significant management experience within the leisure / hospitality industry Experience of budgetary controls Experience of managing and leading a large team (50 team members) Good general standard of education Outgoing nature, enjoys working with people Confident and experienced with guest service and requirements A strong eye for detail and high standards Desirable requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Experience of computerised booking systems Beauty Therapy Level 2 Qualification (or equivalent) Beauty Therapy Level 3 Qualification (or equivalent) Experience in leading and managing a food and beverage operation Good network of Spa industry external contacts ABOUT THE BENEFITS Center Parcs is a fantastic place to work and the benefits are as impressive as they are unique.
