If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a band 6 physiotherapist to join the Community Integrated Neurology and Stroke Service (CINSS).
The successful candidate will join a specialist MDT comprising of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dieticians, a Neuropsychologist, a Rehabilitation Consultant and Generic Rehabilitation Technical Instructors.
This post requires a dedicated autonomous physiotherapist with sound clinical experience in neurology and stroke rehabilitation. Previous community experience would also be advantageous. The successful candidate will be required to manage a caseload in a busy and developing environment. Excellent organisational, communication and team working skills are required for this position, along with the ability to support and train other members of the team.
The team hub is at Braunstone Health and Social Care Centre (BHSCC), with regional bases in Loughborough Hospital, Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital, St Lukes Hospital, and Melton Hospital.
The post is per week but the service will also consider applications for part-time working hours. The position available is based at BHSCC. The trust embraces agile working which enables employees to maximise their performance and productivity whilst maintaining a good work life balance.

Main duties of the job
1. To be responsible in the use and expenditure of the Trusts resources that you utilise.
2. Delivery of Effective Healthcare within the organisation.
3. Establishing Effective Leadership and Communication.
4. To undertake the Trusts corporate and local induction, and maintain your learning and compliance with training requirements for your role.
5. Participate in supervision via agreed review and appraisal mechanisms.It is mandatory for all professionally qualified staff and clinical support staff to actively participate in clinical supervision as an integral part of their professional development.
6. All records that the role is responsible for or modifies must be kept up to date and maintained in an accurate and diligent manner.
7. To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
8. To hold responsibility for own caseload, working without direct supervision. Supervision is through regular formal training and clinical reasoning sessions, peer review and case presentations. Access to advice and support from a Band 7 is available as required.
9. Contribute to the supervision, education and assessment of the performance of PT students in accordance with University standards.
10. To take responsibility for the clinical supervision of less experienced physiotherapy staff and PT/generic assistants working with the post holder.
11. To participate in audit and research projects to further own and teams clinical practice.
