Project Manager (Customer Facing & Stakeholder Management)
Location: Warrington (2-3 days per week on-site)
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills, along with expertise in Agile methodologies. The client is at the heart of the broadcast and utilities sectors in the UK and internationally, providing critical data, network, and communications services. The role will involve overseeing projects in the Smart Metering sector within the Water Industry, managing multiple suppliers, and working closely with Self Lay Providers and house builders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage projects using Agile principles, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
* Serve as the primary contact between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, driving collaboration and transparency.
* Negotiate with suppliers and resolve any project challenges quickly and effectively.
* Provide regular project updates, maintaining focus on key milestones and outcomes.
* Manage project risks, issues, and scope changes using Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) as needed.
Preferred Experience:
* Experience in Smart Metering within the Water Industry.
* Familiarity with Self Lay Providers and working with house builders.
* Proven track record in delivering projects with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
* Experience managing customer relationships and negotiating with suppliers in an Agile environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Expertise in Agile project management and tools (Jira, Trello, etc.).
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure alignment on project goals.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ideally located near Warrington to minimize travel expenses.
