Data and Administration Manager (Team Leader)

In addition to carrying out clerical duties and providing administrative support and data management/collection, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Administrative team within the Health Visiting Service whose key role is to ensure the timely booking of client appointments. You will communicate via phone and email ensuring that all data/administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. You will need to be well organised, pay close attention to detail and like being part of a team.

* Assisting with production of monthly data reports.
* Prioritising the team's workload.
* Providing appropriate responses and advice to clients.
* Ensuring a high level of customer care is always provided.
* Escalating calls when required.
* Attend and contribute to team meetings.
* Build relationships with colleagues to enhance the team working environment.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Level 4 qualification (e.g. certificate of higher education, higher national certificate, NVQ level 4) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
* NVQ Level 3 Team Leader or Supervisor or other leadership/management qualification.
Experience
* Practical application of HR practices, policies and procedures.
* Leading teams in busy and pressurised environments.
* Experience of working with members of the public.
* Experience of handling confidential and sensitive information.
* Basic experience of a financial system.
Knowledge
* Advanced knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office packages e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Understanding of health and social care sector, including working knowledge of NHS structures, policies and processes.
Skills and Abilities
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively with a wide range of people from different backgrounds at all levels of seniority.
* Ability to concentrate and focus on diverse tasks whilst dealing with frequent interruptions.
Personal Attributes
* Ability to prioritise, multi-task and respond quickly to changing priorities, reorganising own and team's workload to meet deadlines.
* Possess a willingness to learn.
Ability to manage
* Proven ability to manage staff including performance and absence management.
* Ability to cope with pressure during busy periods and act in a professional manner at all times.
