The Role:
My client is seeking a motivated Multi-Skilled Operative to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will work across a variety of tasks, including adaptive works for social housing, commercial and residential fit-out projects, and facility management duties. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth completion of tasks, adhering to timelines, and maintaining high-quality standards in every aspect of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out adaptive works for social housing (e.g., disability adaptations, grab rails, access ramps).
* General construction fit-out work including skirting, flooring, and interior finishes.
* Facility management tasks such as snagging, filler work, and minor repairs.
* Perform general maintenance and repairs as required in both residential and commercial settings.
* Ensure high-quality standards are met in every task, while adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Respond efficiently to emergency call-outs and work orders, ensuring prompt completion.
* Collaborate with the site manager, tradespeople, and contractors to ensure smooth operations on-site.
* Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled role within construction or facility management.
* Strong skills in snagging, skirting, filler work, flooring, and general repairs.
* Knowledge of adaptive works for social housing is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of work.
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Full UK driving license.
