Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced vehicle technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of steering systems in vehicles. This role requires a deep understanding of steering mechanisms, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and repair steering systems, including hydraulic, electric, and mechanical components.
2. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on steering systems.
3. Work with advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess steering issues.
4. Stay updated on the latest advancements in steering technology and repair techniques.
5. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
1. A certificate of Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 or equivalent City & Guilds and solid work experience in the automotive industry.
Essential Skills:
1. A full driving licence.
2. Own tools.
3. The ability to carry out work to a high standard and to deadlines.
4. The ability to work in a competent and efficient manner on your own.
