Front Door Team Lead Occupational Therapist
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join and experience the leadership team at East Surrey Hospital as a team lead Occupational Therapist in the Front Door therapy team. The highly motivated and dynamic team is a well established integrated multidisciplinary team and respected within our Front Door service. The team is committed to providing high quality and effective therapy assessment and treatment to our patients in the Front Door service which includes the Emergency Department, Clinical Decision Unit, Acute Medical Unit, Surgical Assessment Unit and Frailty outpatients
We are looking for a team lead who is forward thinking, able to demonstrate collaborative working with your job share and be innovative and flexible. We require a team lead who has an in-depth of knowledge and experience of Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions and equipment provision for a wide range of medical conditions. You will be responsible for day to day management of the service delivery and manage a complex caseload. You will have experience in supervising staff and be an accredited practice placement educator
This role requires strong leadership skills,the ability to engage others, with a proactive approach to service development. You will also demonstrate a strong commitment to a person centred approach in line with the Trust Values and Behaviours. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to be flexible, work under pressure and thrive in a fast paced environment
