Regional Sales Development Manager
The Role: Our client is a major name within the cable manufacturing & electrification industries and is looking to onboard a new Regional Sales Development Manager in the Central region with a focus on the West & East Midlands & Yorkshire. The role will see you selling a huge array of cables for various applications such as renewable energy, carbon capture, rail, automotive, and power – all of which fall under the ‘electrification of everything’ which is growing at a fantastic pace!
The Regional Sales Development Manager will be working alongside OEMs within these sectors, designing in products with Design Engineers & System Integrators and then collaborating with the M&E Contractors who will be installing these products into new build construction & renewable energy projects across the region. This is a technical, specification-led, field sales role where a consultative & design-led approach is necessary for success. This is a skill-set this company is willing to teach & develop if you don’t have extensive experience.
The Regional Sales Development Manager will be supported by an in-house marketing team, inside Account Managers, and strategic Business Development Managers who will assist with lead generation & market exploration. This role will involve conducting new business development 70% of your time and managing existing projects 30%. The area is tracking to target for the financial year and has huge potential. You will be taking on 30+ active accounts with the view of developing new business on major projects.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
* Have a B2B field sales background and a passion for the growing electrification sector
* Can demonstrate a track record in selling a product over challenging sales cycles
* An energy, hunger, and desire to learn something completely new
* Show an ability and history of putting in the ‘hard yards’
* Come from an industrial, electrical, manufacturing, or MRO sales environment
* Professional in approach
* Full & Clean Driving licence
Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 basic salary DOE + £20k+ OTE + Additional KPI based Commission Scheme + Car or Car Allowance + 20 days holiday + pension scheme + Healthcare scheme
