As the Trauma-Informed Implementation Support Officer you will support the Implementation Manager in the development and integration of trauma-informed practices across Police Scotland from both an operational and strategic perspective.
Engaging with colleagues and partners to seek out opportunities to promote cultural change and minimise risk or re-traumatisation on those who have come into police contact.
Work collaboratively and support the organisation to become responsive to the needs of individuals and communities affected by trauma, fostering a culture of empathy, support, and psychological safety.
Work in collaboration with others across Police Scotland to co-ordinate and deliver the trauma training plan across the organisation.
To provide support to the Manager and enable collaboration with key stakeholders and facilitate training and operational changes to align with trauma-informed principles.
Responsible for ensuring that all policies, procedures and practices are considered through a trauma-informed lens.
