Join SDR Care and be part of something extraordinary! We are opening a bespoke, person-centered care home in the Lancing/Worthing area that will provide life-changing support to a vibrant individual. At SDR Care, we are more than just a team, we are dedicated to our core values: Kindness, Dignity & Respect, Calmness, Creativity, and Responsibility. These values guide everything we do, helping us create a culture that’s both rewarding and fulfilling.
Earn from £40,000 per year, with annual reviews, a performance-based bonus, private medical cover, other valuable benefits and excellent professional development opportunities. We invest in our people because they are at the heart of everything we do.
You will lead a passionate team that supports a lively and resilient individual to live their best life; whether through outdoor adventures, music, or joyful moments. Your leadership will shape their happiness and well-being.
We’re looking for a Learning Disability Nurse / Service Manager with NMC registration and at least three years of experience leading care teams for adults with learning disabilities or complex needs. If you’re resilient, creative, and thrive in a supportive team environment, you’re the leader we need.
Our service will operate 24/7, supporting one individual with a dedicated team of 11 staff members, including five waking night support workers.
Working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday with on call duties. Flexibility is key, as some weekend work will be required to support this service as it gets established.
You will be working with a vibrant and clever person. The individual communicates their needs clearly and brings smiles to everyone around them. Despite facing complex health challenges they are full of life and love engaging with others through play, banter, and positive interactions. They adore the outdoors, water play, music, and trampolining. Their family means the world to them and routine helps them thrive. They are very eager to enjoy life to its fullest!
If you’re passionate about leadership and care, we’d love to hear from you!
