Maintenance Technician - The Company:
Our client is a global leader in advanced engineered solutions, specialising in high-performance materials and manufacturing processes for the aerospace and industrial sectors. They are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their successful team.
Maintenance Technician - Responsibilities:
1. Minimise production downtime by identifying and resolving equipment breakdowns while preventing future occurrences.
2. Utilise electrical and mechanical drawings and documentation for fault-finding and modifications to industrial plant and equipment.
3. Perform preventive and planned maintenance tasks.
4. Contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and eliminating recurring faults.
5. Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial equipment and building infrastructure.
6. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all EHS company policies.
7. Continuously expand job knowledge through on-site experience, training, and development opportunities.
Maintenance Technician - Requirements:
1. Demonstrated proficiency in industrial maintenance and fault-finding on electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
2. Proven competency in reading and interpreting electrical and/or mechanical diagrams, as well as fault-finding in control panels and industrial systems.
3. Experience in any of the following areas is advantageous: PLCs, fabrication, welding, and vacuum technology.
4. Computer literacy and familiarity with office software applications.
5. Resilient and resourceful approach, with strong judgement and decision-making skills.
6. Proactive work ethic, strong initiative, and the ability to operate independently within a shift team environment.
Maintenance Technician - Salary & Benefits:
Up to £47,551 per annum
