A Team Leader Role in a Specialist Supported Living Service
About the Role
We are seeking a highly committed, proactive and professional individual to contribute to the operational management of our specialist supported living service.
The service has been developed to meet the needs of people who have a learning disability and/or autism and complex needs, including mental health needs and behaviours which challenge.
As a number of service users have following diagnoses: Learning Disability, Autism, Personality Disorder, Schizophrenia, Bi-Polar Disorder, ADHD, PTSD, OCD.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Management: Assist with the daily management of the service, ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered to the highest standard.
* Team Leadership: Supervise and support a team of staff members to deliver high-quality care and services.
* Service Development: Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement new initiatives and ideas to improve the service and enhance the lives of service users.
Requirements
* Leadership and Management Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing teams to achieve outstanding results.
* Care and Support Experience: Significant knowledge and understanding of learning disabilities and autism, with experience of providing care and support to individuals with complex needs.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders, including service users, families, carers and external agencies.
Salary Information
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
