Day-to-Day Responsibilities One-to-One Support: Conduct individual interviews to advise students on progression opportunities. Group Sessions: Deliver group talks and workshops on career planning and progression, and delivering training sessions on job searching and employability skills. Community Engagement: Participate in community liaison activities, promoting college provisions and supporting local events. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records using the college’s online student records management system. Event Participation: Represent the college at recruitment and publicity events, providing CEIAG to prospective students and their families. Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with all college policies, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. Essential Criteria Qualifications: Level 4 or Diploma in Careers Guidance, or equivalent experience. Experience: Previous experience in a careers or guidance role, with knowledge of public relations and promotional activities. Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in IT and administrative tasks. Personal Qualities: Non-judgmental, tactful, and diplomatic, with a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
