Senior Supply Chain Planner
The role will report to the Head of Department, working with the Operations Manager you will anticipate and manage company stock levels across multiple channels to ensure smooth operations for our subscription base, optimise inventory and coordinate with our 3PL partners on ensuring stock availability for our wholesale / retail customers and working with other teams to meet customer needs whilst minimising costs.
Based within our Leeds Office, the role has a future opportunity for hybrid working.
Must have experience working within an FMCG planning role, this is not a production capacity planning position, however, relevant experience may be considered.

Main Responsibilities and Duties
1. Senior Supply Chain Planner will execute and support all post-transition related supply chain activities across multiple channels including Retail and Wholesale activities.
2. Responsible for the full life cycle of the product.
3. Assist in the creation, implementation and ongoing management of our supply chain strategy, always with the objective of ensuring maximum customer satisfaction, efficiency and economy.
4. Monitor inventory levels, identify potential stockouts or overstocking.
5. Order placement and management through the creation and placement of purchase orders to support inventory strategy, tracking shipments and ensuring timely delivery of products.
6. Reduce obsolescence of inaccurate purchase quantities vs demand or highlight cost benefit to offset wastage.
7. Monitor supplier performance against OTIF.
8. Drive continuous improvement to meet supply chain requirements in line with defined business objectives.
9. Provide reporting support, inventory and buying support analysis as required, and drawing insights from data to make recommendations to the Department Head.
10. Working closely with the Head of Department to ensure batch control and traceability procedures and compliance in line with VMD and other regulatory bodies as required.
11. Resolving problems concerning transportation, logistics and customs clearance in line with least risk, least cost strategy.
12. Calculate cost of different supply strategies on freight. Outline different unit cost impact per unit of freight charges.
13. Supporting the smooth running of the Supply Chain function and deputise on planning activities in the absence of the Head of Department.
14. Build relationships with suppliers and drive cost saving initiatives through solid business cases.
15. Manage and maintain product databases across platforms, management and maintain product, purchasing and inventory records within Netsuite.
