Climate17 is proud to partner with a leading wind energy developer seeking a Senior Project Developer to lead and manage wind project development from site identification through to Notice to Proceed (NTP). This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong experience in wind energy, looking to take ownership of significant projects and make a real impact in the renewable energy sector.
* Location: Minnesota preferred, but flexible West of the Mississippi
* Travel: Up to 50%

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee full project lifecycle from site prospecting to NTP
* Develop and execute project strategies, schedules, and budgets
* Lead land acquisition efforts and build strong community relationships
* Manage environmental assessments, permitting, and regulatory compliance
* Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors
* Support the origination of project offtake opportunities
What You Bring:
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
* 8 years of experience in wind and/or solar project development having executed 6-8 projects, and managing multiple projects concurrently.
* Strong understanding of zoning, permitting, and interconnection processes
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Project/Smartsheet, and Google Earth
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Willingness to travel up to 50%
Compensation & Benefits:
* Salary: $120-150k
* Above market bonus
