What's the job?
Reporting to the Product Director, you will drive projects in a key area of our product, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value to our users. In this role, you will be responsible for managing product features from planning through to launch, communicating progress to the broader team, and aligning stakeholders on key product goals. You'll have the opportunity to shape product strategies, draw insights from data, and ensure that the product meets user needs and business objectives.
Product Managers at TotallyMoney have broad and complex remits but also need to be comfortable diving into the details. We value autonomy, and empower teams to work however they feel will best achieve their goals.
What you'll do:
Day to day, you will:
* Use quantitative and qualitative data to help inform product decisions, and initiate data analysis or research studies where we need more data
* Work closely with your Product Design peer to ensure user needs are met within a high-quality product experience
* Take big problems and big ideas and break them down into smaller, more actionable steps - we want to validate hypotheses rapidly and efficiently
* Help set and track relevant metrics and OKRs, ensuring your work aligns with the company's goals. Support the team in identifying and adjusting KPIs where needed.
* Work with engineers to design, build and maintain our services, ensuring they are built with scalability and performance in mind
* Communicate key updates from your product area across the wider business to ensure alignment
* Model best practice behaviours and activities in both product management and teamwork

* Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
* Case studies and experiences that evidence your impact on the products you've worked on
* Experience working with native apps as a Product Manager
You'll fit in well if you're the type of person who:
* Is collaborative, and knows how to get the most out of their team
* Is an effective project manager, but recognises that this is only part of the role of a Product Manager
* Is comfortable being the primary advocate for their team to the wider business, sharing plans, insights and outcomes to a range of audiences
* Is proactive and pragmatic, identifies opportunities and goes after them
