An opportunity has arisen for a successful candidate to join our busy team within the Hotel Services department and support the Supervisory Team in providing service guidance and support to staff responsible for service delivery, quality, and monitoring and improving efficiency within the Hotel Services departments and at ward and department level at a community hospital and healthcare setting.
The post holder will operate as a supervisor at Prince Charles Hospital managing Catering Services ensuring that patient feeding services and restaurant services are delivered to agreed specifications, resources are adequate and available, and staffing levels are maintained.
Main duties of the job
1. Report to and work with the responsible Hotel Services Team Leader to implement all services, operational policies, procedures, schedules of work, safe systems of work, audit their implementation, and ensure documentation is kept up to date.
2. Review working practices regularly to respond to legislation, internal and external influences such as Agenda for Change, the Working Time Directive, and Benchmarking, Health & Safety and employment legislation and new service developments.
3. Perform supplementary duties to respond to service needs that are appropriate to the Facilities services and in line with their banding.
4. Work at any of the Health Board sites and fulfill any job allocated, commensurate with the banding.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Job responsibilities
The post holder must keep the Hotel Services Team Leader advised on the service delivery performance and issues within the Hotel Services (Facilities) department on a regular basis relating to all areas within the remit of the role.
