Job Description x2 Maintenance Engineer's - FM Service Provider - Bristol - Up to £28,000
Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated at Bristol. CBW are currently recruiting for two Maintenance Engineers to be based on a Health Care complex located in Bristol. The successful candidate will have an all-around understanding of most fabric duties and a proven track record in commercial fabric building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on-site, he or she will be required to carry out fabric PPM and reactive maintenance across a large blue-chip commercial office static site.
This will be a permanent role with a salary of up to £28,000. There are two roles available: one engineer will work Monday to Friday and the other will work shifts. Please see below:
* £27,800 - Monday to Friday 07.00 to 15.30 / 10.00 to 18.00
* £28,000 - 4 on 4 off Days and nights shift 07.00 to 19.00 / 19.00 to 07.00
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Ability to deliver excellent customer service
* To undertake basic fabric duties which include touching up paint work, tightening hinges, installing/repairing blinds, changing locks, making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and assembling small equipment like chairs, etc.
* To undertake some plumbing activities including but not limited to clearing blockages, attending to burst pipes, replacing components, servicing systems, etc.
* Painting and decorating
* Assist with office moves (minor office churn) including furniture moving
* Liaising with the contract management team
* Investigating complaints and taking appropriate action
* Ensuring feedback is provided to the helpdesk on the progress of M&E jobs
* Carry out specialist technical and non-technical work as deemed appropriate to the continuing maintenance function on the client portfolio
* Offer technical support and backup as required
* Ensure all personnel and contractors that may be working in hazardous areas take all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury, and prevent damage to equipment
* Use all relevant tools and equipment within the safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works
* To ensure the client receives the highest level of service to their assets by carrying out reactive and planned maintenance, minor improvements
* Ensure jobs are completed to a high standard
* Assist Multi-Skilled Engineers where required

* £28,000 basic salary (Depending on role)

Requirements
* A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
* An understanding of most building fabric duties (Plumbing, Painting, Carpentry, Basic Electrical, etc.)
* Good communication skills
* Health & Safety experience
* Basic PC literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
* Ability to deliver excellent customer service
* Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
