Job Title: Solution Architect – Compliance Technology

Our Compliance Technology teams are responsible for delivering solutions which will automate business workflows, improve data quality, and enhance reporting for the Compliance function.
You will be an integral part of the bank’s technology infrastructure, guiding the Compliance Technology team and playing a vital role in protecting organisational data. By actively engaging with the team, you will be responsible for the overall implementation of architecture in the compliance division. You will need to have a blend of architecture, engineering, and cloud skills, and a passion for overall design and engineering best practices.

Your key responsibilities:
1. Analysing & implementing the architecture and engineering best practices that have been requested by the Bank’s application developer community
2. Collaborating with other architects to ensure specifications are implemented in policy-enforcing tools, and on improvements to architecture & engineering tooling and agile ways of working
3. Acting as an internal expert in the native features of the Cloud Service Providers to advise other teams on options for improving and maintaining solution designs
4. Implementing the best architecture practices defined by the enterprise architects
5. Contributing the best architecture standards and practices
6. Creating the solution designs for the business requirements and reviewing the architecture implementation for the applications within the division
Your skills and experience:
1. Experience in creating the architecture artefacts and viewpoints including application, functional, data, technology and security
2. Teamwork abilities: The Solution Architect is expected to work with various multi-disciplinary teams, so it is vital that they are team-oriented individuals with priority on the successful completion of team goals
3. Exposure to current development techniques such as agile, CI/CD pipelines and Public Clouds
4. Experience in designing microservice and serverless architecture
5. Professional Cloud Architect (Google) & TOGAF Certifications (Desirable)
