Your Role As part of our talented 12-strong arboricultural team, you’ll work alongside colleagues in Warrington and Market Harborough, gaining exposure to a wide range of private sector projects. Your responsibilities will include: • Carrying out BS 5837 surveys and risk assessments. • Procuring and managing tree works to mitigate risk. • Producing high-quality written and CAD reports for projects that shape the UK’s housing, transport, and energy infrastructure. • Working on veteran tree care, historic landscapes, and tree population management. • Building new client relationships and exploring innovative service opportunities. • Helping to enhance arboricultural standards and promote best practice across all our projects. Whilst our office is in Gateshead, we’re flexible about working arrangements and encourage travel to other TEP offices for projects, training, and social events. What we’re looking for • Proven experience applying BS 5837 and conducting tree risk assessments. • A positive, pro-active approach to project leadership. • Someone who enjoys collaborating with a diverse range of professionals and building lasting client relationships. • Confidence in delivering clear, well-written reports. • Thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to promote and develop new services. Over the past year, we’ve delivered major projects for clients such as the Land Trust, Natural England, Forestry Commission, Crystal Palace Park, and English Heritage. We’re also developing strategic tree management plans for local and metropolitan councils, and historic estates.
