Lifeline Services have been providing award-winning support to the residents of Darlington since 1989. The response team is based at our Town Hall office, and the integral duties of a Lifeline Response Officer include the demonstration, installation, and monitoring of various technology and responding to any emergency calls as necessary. Our officers must be able to think dynamically in a fast-paced and busy environment.
You will be confident in the use of databases and Microsoft Office packages with a good understanding of GDPR to meet the administrative duties of the role. You will need to be approachable with a 'can do' attitude and, among other valuable skills, be sociable, flexible, and possess the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with our clients. A strong background in a customer-facing role with experience of working with older and more vulnerable people is advantageous.
This role is full-time (37 hrs per week) working:
* Monday – Thursday 08:30 - 17:00
* Friday 08:30 - 16:30
* Also 07:30 - 15:45 on a rota basis.
