National Account Executive - Cash & Carry
Hybrid Working - Manchester 2 days a week
Salary £35k + Bonus + Package
Do you want to be a part of a rapidly growing food business? Do you want to be part of a growing team who are already a market leader in their sector?
We are looking for a National Account Executive to generate profitable new business opportunities with targeted new and existing customers in line with our company's growth plans within the cash and carry channel. You will be integral to identifying, tendering, winning, and mobilising new customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Achieve budgeted revenue and gross margin targets
2. Support the Senior National Account Managers and Head of Sales
3. Work with current accounts including Demetra, Bestway, Parfetts
4. Identify and secure new customer opportunities
5. Maximise product category sales for new clients
6. Manage new business proposals and tenders
7. Attend industry conferences and seminars to network
8. Communicate the mobilisation process for new business
9. Prepare and submit weekly activity reports
10. Collaborate with internal teams to support business development
About You:
1. Experience in FMCG sales
2. Proven track record of winning new business
3. Strong organisational and communication skills
4. Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and work well under pressure
5. A self-starter with a hands-on, tenacious approach
