Job Title: Senior Digital Licensing Manager A little bit about our team: Warner Chappell's Digital team is responsible for growing revenues through all forms of digital exploitation and finding new and innovative ways in which to grow our business in a way that underlines the value of our incredible catalogue of work. The team is responsible for identifying and negotiating with DSPs and drafting contracts, as well as working internally with our Operations and Finance teams to ensure that the repertoire in all territories is properly licensed, all reporting is delivered on time, and relevant payments have been received. In addition to this, the Digital team works across multiple territories, either directly or in a support role, advising our international affiliates. Your role: The Senior Digital Licensing Manager is responsible for licensing WCM rights to new and existing digital partners and working with other WCM teams to operationalize these license agreements. The role will report to and support EVP, Global Digital in securing the best possible commercial terms for WCM songwriters and maintaining WCM's relationship with its Digital partners. Here you'll get to: - Negotiate licence agreements with new and existing digital services in developed and emerging markets. - Secure approval of matching performing rights from societies. - Work closely with WCM Finance to track revenue for digital accounts. - Collaborate with WCM Finance and support deal modelling and analysis of the financial impact of licensing terms to ensure that WCM's deals will provide meaningful revenue to its songwriters. - Act as point of contact for external and internal enquiries regarding digital issues. - Partner with Director, Digital Rights Management, and Digital Analyst to track trends across licensed platforms. - Assume responsibility for negotiating with a share of major DSPs and provide support in other major deal negotiations. About you: - Solid experience and understanding of music publishing and rights flow, particularly in the digital landscape. - A minimum of 5 year's experience in the music industry - Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets with experience in analysis and deal modelling. - Effective and confident communication skills. - Experience working across multiple time zones. - Strong organisational skills.
