We are recruiting a Decarbonisation Learning and Engagement Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours: 37 hours Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31 st March 2026 Location: Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Decarbonisation Team We pay an attractive salary of £30,559 - £33,366 and offer access to training and development opportunities. The first step in embedding Decarbonisation principles is to empower the whole workforce with the understanding and skills they need to realise their agency within their specific jobs and take action to reduce emissions. This post will be focused on engaging, raising awareness and delivering training to upskill the employees of CCBC and support them in recognising the roles we all have to play in achieving Net Zero and to protect and enhance our environment. For the role, we ask that you have: A Relevant Level 3 qualification on the Qualifications and Credit Framework for Wales. A good understanding of decarbonisation issues and solutions.
