Join Our Team and Make a Difference in the Lives of Children, Adults, and Families As a Children’s Enhanced Social Worker, you will manage a diverse caseload, including high-complexity and high-risk cases. These may involve: Child Protection, Care & Support, and Deprivation of Liberty cases Cases subject to Court action School attendance matters Providing expert social work support to adults/adults at risk, children/children at risk, their families, and carers Key Responsibilities: Case Management: Take ownership of an allocated caseload, making informed decisions and managing all aspects of cases effectively. Assessment & Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored care, support, and education plans. Collaborate with external providers to ensure appropriate resource allocation within budget parameters. Safeguarding: Protect and promote the welfare of adults and children at risk. Take immediate action where necessary to safeguard individuals from harm, making decisions in their best interests. Partnership Working: Work independently and collaboratively with other services and stakeholders to maximize positive outcomes for those in need. Innovative Social Work: Apply adaptive techniques to address unique needs and challenges, ensuring evidence-based plans are implemented, reviewed, and updated. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience. Strong decision-making and risk management skills, particularly with high-complexity cases. Proven ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and carers, ensuring their needs are met. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all service users.
