Unit Supervisor
Grade 6 - £13.05 per hour
This is your opportunity to join our customer-focussed team as the Council seeks to improve the health and wellbeing of Bury’s younger generation. As part of our busy catering service, you’ll get full training and we will provide you with opportunities to develop further within the service including a range of apprenticeships.
We are looking for candidates who have experience in catering services and relevant experience at a supervisory level or looking for their next step up the ladder. You will need to be able to communicate effectively, motivate and lead the team. You will also need to develop and improve relationships with the Head Teacher, Business Manager and the rest of the school team.
You need to have an NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Food Production and Cookery or an equivalent qualification in Food Preparation and Cooking and Basic Food Safety.
Please note that dependant on service cover, you may be required to move locations. You will also be required to work 2 cleaning days over August.
