The Role:
We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as an Account and Operations Director. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our operations and account management functions, driving growth and excellence in the healthcare sector.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations management, ideally within healthcare or clinical services. They should possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire performance and manage complex service delivery frameworks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of healthcare services, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high patient safety standards. They will also enhance and implement operational processes to align with client-specific requirements.
We are looking for someone who can foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence within the team. The successful candidate will identify and address training and development needs to enhance team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning and execution of healthcare services to meet or exceed delivery timelines and patient safety standards.
* Enhance and implement operational processes to align with client-specific requirements.
* Actively monitor service performance and resolve issues promptly to maintain service quality.
* Ensure all accounts are actively nurtured and developed in collaboration with the Business Development Team, fostering strong relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and consistently delivering value to existing clients.
* Manage budgets to ensure cost-effective service delivery and maintain healthy margins for all contracts.
* Provide leadership and direction to operational teams (recruitment, compliance and service delivery), fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
* Identify and address training and development needs to enhance team performance.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in operations management, ideally within healthcare or clinical services.
* Strong understanding of clinical, financial, and commercial risk principles, with a history of successful mitigation.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams, inspire performance, and manage complex service delivery frameworks.
* Exceptional analytical skills and a proactive approach to navigating unfamiliar challenges.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with clients, teams, and stakeholders effectively.
* A history of delivering outcomes that align with organisational goals and client expectations.
